1. Subsidize the "New" Children's Zoo for 5 Years
    2009 Cost = $425 Above Budget

Convert $150K credit line to a grant
Convert the budgeted $100K "Challenge Grant" to a grant to be paid
Establish a $20K/quarter agreement with the Zoo for the feeding and care of the County owned animals
Provide additional funding of $195K
Total funding = $525K, an increase versus Budget of $425K

2. Provide No Further Funding after the Zoo and Assume Closeout
    Responsibility When the Zoological Society Fails (Mid-February)
    2009 Cost = $914K Above Budget

Fund credit line defaulted by Zoological Society - $150K
Fund estimated closing costs of $864K
Total funding = $1,014K, an increase versus Budget of $914K

Option 1: Can be funded from anticipated above-Budget final 2008 General Fund Balance

Option 2: Will require funding from both the anticipated General Fund Balance and the
               Tax Relief Fund
